DUBAI 120 LED – 240 L

Discover the Hydor Dubai 120 aquarium, designed with state-of-the-art technical components. Featuring a modern, clean and minimalist design, the Dubai 120 is designed to deliver high performance, ease of management and reduced energy consumption. Ideal for freshwater aquarium setups, it blends seamlessly into any environment and is available in two elegant colours: white and black.

The tank has a capacity of approximately 240 litres and is made from 8 mm thick Float glass, providing strength and safety. It is designed and built in compliance with international standard EN 60598-2-11, required for the CE declaration for all aquariums placed on the market.

The Dubai 120 features an advanced lighting system with the AQ-LUX FRESH 1100 LED lamp for freshwater, measuring 110 x 8 x h 9.5 cm. This high-efficiency 55 W, 4700-lumen lighting unit is designed to promote healthy aquatic plant growth and enhance the natural colours of fish and aquatic flora. Its extended light spectrum combines high-transmittance RGB LEDs, white LEDs at 10,000 K, 6,500 K and 4,000 K, and red LEDs to produce an output similar to sunlight. High colour rendering, with a CRI (Colour Rendering Index) > 90, ensures vivid, natural colours, while the 120° lighting angle provides even tank coverage without shadow areas. The LEDs also offer a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, with low energy consumption and high efficiency.

The AQ-LUX FRESH 1100 features an integrated controller that makes it easy to manage a range of advanced functions and customise the aquarium lighting according to the needs of fish and plants:

Dimmer: allows light intensity to be adjusted according to the specific needs of the aquarium
2 lighting modes: daylight and nightlight to simulate the natural light cycle
Programmable quartz timer: with 3 preset options of 6, 9 and 12 hours for precise, customised programming
Sunrise and sunset simulation: a preset function simulates sunrise over a fixed 30-minute period when the lamp switches on and sunset before it switches off

The lighting unit is made from high-quality materials to ensure strength and long-lasting durability. The aluminium body promotes optimal heat dissipation, helping to prevent LED overheating and ensuring consistent performance, while the glass cover is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Its IP67 protection rating provides resistance to water splashes and accidental immersion.

Thanks to its extendable, removable and adjustable brackets, the AQ-LUX FRESH 1100 offers excellent installation versatility. The lamp can be mounted above the tank, allowing the aquarium to be converted into an open-top setup. During colder months, the lighting unit can be installed under the lid to help maintain a more stable temperature, while in summer it can be raised above the tank to create a cooler, more ventilated environment. The lighting unit can also slide back and forth along the aquarium’s top frame, making it easier to access the tank during routine care and maintenance.

The Dubai 120 comes complete with the Bluwave 07 internal filter, an advanced 3-stage filtration system combining mechanical, biological and adsorptive filtration to help keep the water clean and crystal clear. Mechanical filtration is provided by Blumec sponges of different porosities, while biological filtration uses Blurings ceramic rings and Bluballs plastic spheres. Adsorptive filtration is provided by the Bluclear activated carbon sponge. The filter also includes filtering materials and a Seltz L 900 L/h pump. Water intake grilles positioned at the top and bottom promote optimal water circulation, while the practical removable compartments simplify cleaning and maintenance.

The heating system is also included: the aquarium is equipped with a Bluclima 200 W submersible heater, precise and reliable, with a high thermal resistance glass tube.

The Dubai 120 also offers excellent everyday practicality. The lid features sliding top hatches that allow the installation of an automatic fish feeder and a protein skimmer. Special snap-off plugs allow external accessories to be fitted and provide passage for the inlet and outlet hoses of an external filter.

To complete the setup, the matching Stand Dubai 120 cabinet is available as an optional accessory and is designed to provide suitable support for the tank. Equipped with adjustable feet, it is available in a finish coordinated with the aquarium.
