CAPRI 80 LED PLUS – 100 L

The Capri 80 LED aquarium stands out for its ease of use and the performance of its LED lighting system: high energy savings, excellent colour rendering with brilliant colours, efficiency and reliability. Compared with a fluorescent lamp, the LED system provides 50% energy savings and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

Ideal for freshwater setups, the Capri 80 LED is built in compliance with international standard EN 60598-2-11, required for the CE declaration for all aquariums placed on the market.

The sturdy tank has a capacity of approximately 100 litres and is made from 6 mm thick glass. It features a watertight lid, not hinged to the tank and tested to withstand humidity and water splashes. The large front-opening hatch provides easy access for maintenance.

The Capri 80 LED aquarium comes complete with the Bluwave 03 internal filter, an advanced 3-stage filtration system, mechanical, biological and adsorbent, that helps keep the water clean and crystal clear. Mechanical filtration uses sponges of different porosities to capture debris and particles suspended in the water. Biological filtration is provided by special Blurings ceramic rings, featuring a large surface area and high porosity to promote the establishment of nitrifying bacteria. Adsorbent filtration uses an activated carbon sponge to remove aromatic compounds and colourants. The filter is complete with filter media, a Pico 500 L/h pump and a Bluclima 100 heater rated at 100 W. Water intake grids positioned at the top and bottom promote optimal circulation, while the filter structure makes cleaning easier and helps minimise dirt dispersion during maintenance.

In addition to its filtration system, the Capri 80 LED aquarium features an advanced lighting system with Hydor’s 9 W LED Bar Pro Toplife, complete with power supply and supports for simple and secure installation. Designed to provide convenience, safety and a superior visual experience, this LED lamp combines a durable, modern design with advanced functions, including dimmer control, timer and day-night modes, meeting the needs of both experienced aquarists and beginners.

Thanks to its extended light spectrum, the LED Bar Pro faithfully replicates natural light, promoting healthy aquatic plant growth and naturally enhancing the blue and red tones of fish and plants. The 120° lighting angle ensures even tank coverage, avoiding shadow areas and providing optimal light distribution.

The LED Bar Pro features an integrated control unit that makes it easy to manage a range of advanced functions for customised lighting:

Dimmer: allows light intensity to be adjusted according to the specific needs of fish and plants
2 lighting modes: daylight and nightlight to simulate the natural light cycle
Built-in timer: with 3 preset options of 6, 9 and 12 hours for precise, customised programming
Sunrise and sunset simulation: a preset function simulates sunrise for 30 minutes when the lamp is switched on and sunset for 30 minutes before it switches off

Made from high-quality materials, the LED Bar Pro features a scratch-resistant polycarbonate body that is easy to clean and highly durable. With an IP68 protection rating, it is resistant to water splashes and accidental immersion, ensuring high reliability. Low-voltage operation at 24 V adds an extra level of safety.

The Capri 80 LED is designed to accommodate additional accessories: a practical hatch on the lid allows the use of an automatic fish feeder, while special snap-off plugs allow the inlet and outlet hoses of an external filter to pass through.

The matching Stand 80 is available as an optional accessory to provide optimal support for the tank.
